Johalla Projects approached the unique space of 811 West Fulton Market, which is home to the Wing, Knoll, and other businesses, as an opportunity to consider how business spaces could celebrate Chicago-based contemporary art. This project was in partnership with Shapack Partners. Located in the building lobby, Johalla Projects curated a salon-style exhibition of contemporary Chicago artists that incorporates photography, fiber art, text-based work, and painting into one cohesive display. In The Wing, we emphasized their inclusive mission and created an exhibition with a strong emphasis on female artists such as Moira Quinn, Diana Gabriel, Kate Lynn Lewis, Edra Soto, Kim Alpert and Minami Kobayashi.
