art curatorial collective
In March, 2014 Johalla Projects collaborated with Blue Moon Brewing Company on an interactive public art installation at the DUMBO Archway in Brooklyn, NYC. Artist Heather Gabel created a large-scale moon installation and celestial projections that enveloped the atmosphere with skylit radiance. For one night of activation, individuals over 21 years of age could tweet @BlueMoonBrewCo and watch as their tweet caused the moon to rise higher into the night sky. For every tweet, Blue Moon Brewing Company donated $5 to Americans for the Arts. During this activation, visitors received a complementary screen print designed by Gabel.
