Cascade Apt
Partnering with Lendlease for Cascade Apartments and Cirrus Condos, Johalla Projects curated an inclusive collection of Chicago-based artists across amenity areas, corridors, and within the residential floors of the Lakeshore East, Chicago building. We incorporated over 25 different artists into this permanent collection. Ranging in medium from painting, fiber, photography, and drawing, to large-scale mural work, the Lendlease art collection is a robust survey of contemporary Chicago art. We worked with artists such as Moira Quinn, Michael McGuire, and Emmy Star Brown.
We collaborated with the non-profit organization Arts of Life whose studio artists’ created large-scale prints that were installed throughout all of the residential corridor floors. Johalla Project has a long history of partnership with Arts of Life and is proud to have worked on such an exciting endeavor together in the Cirrus Condo building.
