Johalla Projects partnered with the City of East Lansing, Michigan, and Harbor Bay Real Estate Advisors to commission a permanent mural in the Center City District. Artist Lauren Asta worked over a three month period to paint the mural entirely freehand. Located in the heart of the city, the 56 foot wide mural vibrates with electric colors and street-art style line work. Asta’s iconography of unique characters, hard-line graphic elements, and pops of colors are found in murals spanning across the country and Johalla Projects is honored to have brought her signature style to the city of East Lansing.
