Johalla worked on Penn State University's housing property, created in collaboration with Avenir and developers Core Spaces. We sought out Philadelphia tattoo figurehead Timmy "tatts" Domino from King Cobra Tattoo to draw up a fresh perspective on the school's mascot Nitty Lion. Maximizing his design into a bold wallpaper for the building’s front desk, this installation nods to the University’s history and also places a contemporary spin on tradition.
